Consultation

Initial Meet

We start by meeting with the owner/representative and/or general contractor to understand the project vision & outline key requirements as well as budget & timeline expectations.

Site Survey & Feasibility

We then evaluate the existing space or project drawings to identify potential challenges, code requirements, & utility connections. Allowing us to ensure an efficient project path.

Scope Definition

From there, we work alongside the contractor to define project scope, deliverables & constraints. We gather these necessary details & establish clear expectations from the beginning.

Design & Planning

System Design: Our Design Team creates detailed electrical plans tailored to meet your manufacturing needs, building needs & code requirements.

Engineering & Load Calculations: Our Team creates a load analysis to size the service & electrical gear. We calculate loads for conductors, circuits, and equipment sizes and design layouts for lighting and control systems.

Budgeting and Estimating: We provide accurate cost estimates early-on, focusing on constructability & cost-effectiveness.

Value Engineering: Our Engineers & Project Managers may suggest alternative designs or materials to reduce costs & improve efficiency.

Permitting & Approvals: We handle all necessary permits & ensure designs comply with national & local electrical codes, coordinating with authorities for inspections.

Build & Implementation

Procurement: Our Superintendent, PMs, & Foremen collaborate to purchase all necessary materials & equipment which allows us to plan ahead for items with long lead times.

Installation: MES licensed electricians perform the physical installation of all electrical components, including wiring, conduits, circuit breakers, outlets, light fixtures, panels, generators, & low-voltage systems (security, data networks, fire alarms).

Project Management & Coordination: Throughout the duration of the project, our Superintendent & Project Managers are responsible for the workforce, coordinating with other trades, managing the schedule, and maintaining quality control & safety protocols.

Testing, Commissioning, & Maintenance

Testing and Quality Control: After installation, the systems undergo rigorous testing to verify all components function correctly, meet safety standards & are properly grounded.

Final Inspection & Handover: Final inspections are scheduled and a final walk-through is administered to instruct the owner on new systems.

Ongoing Support: MES offers post-completion support, warranties, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance services to ensure the long-term safety and efficiency of the system.
